Unfunky UFO (Parliament) - Marcus King, Isaiah Sharkey, Mononeon, Chris Dave @ Blue Note NYC 1/18/25
Terrific version of the Parliament classic Unfunky UFO, off of Mothership Connection.
Marcus King and Isaiah Sharkey going back to back on the solos, Mononeon and Chris Dave keeping the groove driving the whole way though. Chris Dave in particular shines on this one, it's not flashy but he stays rock steady in the pocket the whole time.
