It is well with my soul - Bass
Theres a stable & steadfast hope that grows in the hearts of believers when they abide in relational intimacy with the Lord.
This hope persists in seasons of hardship and seasons of prosperity. As we abide in him through life’s ups and downs, he will show us how great he is and how fickle the things of this world are.
- Romans 8:18 states:
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.
However he directs my paths, I will sing- it is well with my soul.
- When peace like a river, attendeth my way
- When sorrows like sea billows roll
- Whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say
- It is well, it is well, with my soul
