This Christmas by Donny Hathaway | Low-Brass Multitrack | Sheet Music Video
I made this arrangement last year. I wanted to multitrack it, and since I didn't have a euphonium, I just went for it with the trombones and tuba.
Suitable for: Sheet Music available from: [sheet music plus]
Donny Hathaway's "This Christmas" is a classic tune that brings some soul to the low brass player's holiday book.
This tune is perfect for gigging occasions, and it is sight-readable with all the inflections of true funk horn players and bass lines. Educational groups can harness this tune as an introduction to funk style, with articulation markings provided to help with interpretation.
- The arrangement features:
- Euphonium 1 and 2 that are readable by any Tenor Trombone player
- Tuba 1 that can be read by either Tenor with an F Valve or a Bass Trombone
