Recorded LIVE by Grammy Winning Corin Nelsen. Mixed and Mastered by Corin Nelsen and Trevor Gordon Hall.
This medley is one of my favorite moments from the concert—starting soft and reflective with "Christmas Time Is Here," moving into the nostalgic magic of "Somewhere in My Memory" from Home Alone, and building to an epic, full-throttle take on "Carol of the Bells."
It was an incredible night at the Strand Theater in Old Forge, NY, with a live audience that brought so much energy. This arrangement features my Kalimbatar, a one-of-a-kind instrument I designed to combine guitar and kalimba, and it was amazing to share it in such a special setting.
The album, "Live from The Strand Theater: A Christmas Special," is out now—stream it or catch it on PBS! I hope it brings some holiday magic your way.
This performance was recorded for public television broadcast syndication by WPBS-TV, made possible through the support of Great Camp Sagamore, the Central Adirondack Association, Old Forge Tourism, the View Center for Arts and Culture, and the Cloudsplitter Foundation.
