Devour Music

Singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer and live-looping virtuoso Elise Trouw checks out the sounds and playability of the Fender American Professional Jazz Bass. Versatility and ergonomics are particularly critical for Trouw’s looping performances because everything is going down in real-time as it happens. There is no "fix it in the mix." The performance and the mix happen simultaneously. That's why choosing the right bass—and the right tone—matters before she starts her first loop.
