Justus Eichhorn - Liszt: Pater Noster
Watch Justus Eichhorn interpret Liszt’s Pater Noster, the 5th piece of the composer's 'Harmonies poétiques et religieuses III', S. 173.
It shows a very different side of the composer whom Justus Eichhorn first imagined as a dazzling virtuoso with “the aura of a superstar”: reflective and deeply spiritual.
Justus Eichhorn comments: “Nowadays, I often picture Liszt in my mind walking through Weimar in black, priest-like attire,” he says, a fitting image for this intimate work.
