Steve Smith & Nicholas Stampf: "Salt Peanuts" (2024)
Watch Nicholas Stampf and me as we tackle "Salt Peanuts" at the Sonor Factory!
We're playing some duets, and our version is loosely based on the record by Charlie Parker (alto sax) and Dizzy Gillespie (trumpet) with “Big Sid” Catlett on drums.
“Salt Peanuts” was written by drummer Kenny Clarke, a SONOR endorser, and trumpet maestro Dizzy Gillespie.
Check this out if you haven’t heard it! Enjoy!
