Travis Orbin - Coral the MerKnight Session - "Overture," "MINDF!@#%," & "Suture Self"
Watch the post-deathrock opera:
Back when I first began posting tracking vids from this session, it was entitled "Coral the MerKnight vs. The Beasts of Burdentown." A decision was made to omit the second half of the project title and repurpose it as the album title. Also, the record was instrumental and featured a different mix/production style. I've since deleted those three original vids to present this, which is reflective of the final release.
The project started with "Submersion" (0:00) and "The Setup" (2:01), originally posted on 28AUG20, later re-titled as "Overture" and "MINDF!@#%", featuring Cris Hodges on vocals and a guest guitar solo by Nik Nocturnal.
Taken from the full album, I'd like to highlight two tracks: "Torn by Guilt" (6:12), originally posted on 04DEC20, re-titled as "Suture Self", also featuring Cris Hodges on vocals.
