Quiet Piano + Kalimba with Delay & Reverb | Scene Change 2026-09-22
A quiet piece featuring resonant piano and kalimba sounds.
This piece combines a piano performance on the CP-88 with kalimba sounds processed through the MOOD MKII.
The kalimba is recorded with an NT-4 microphone, then processed through the MOOD MKII and the blueSky for reverb.
In Ableton Live, both the dry signal and the processed signal are recorded and mixed together.
On this channel I explore many styles of music using field recordings, DIY instruments, and hardware.
