Kuhn Fu, the currently eight-member ensemble led by guitarist and composer Christian Kühn, simply takes what it needs: the wild, unrestrained energy of rock, and the freedom of composition and interplay from jazz.
The new album, Gamgumsupon, is the band's most direct to date. In this new fusion of rock and individuality, something emerges that no longer fits the term "jazz-rock." It's liberated rock music, and at the same time something jazz-like, driving and exploding with carefree joy.
