Devour Music

Coming up with interesting loops can be a challenge, and it's not uncommon to feel stuck from time to time. I recently took some time off from writing, as it felt almost impossible to come up with ideas that I was satisfied with.

After a week without trying to get anything down, I realized I started to hear melodies again. Before that, the only thing I heard were just notes and nothing else. It's just pointless to force it at some point.

I think it's against any expectations to write when you don't feel it. At least for me, I can hear the struggle through it, and it's obvious that nothing happened naturally.

This one isn't a masterpiece, but it's something I didn't have to think through when I did the improvisation.
