Alt-timing jam with Elektron Octatrack and Erica Synths Zen Delay

A live synthesizer jam performed entirely on hardware.
I was thinking I'd get back to my "new acid" series and this weird thing slipped out, a 5/4 jam with a 15-bar chord progression. Who am I to reject inspiration? I'm really happy with this weird beast.
- The bulk of the composition was done in the box (using some of my favourites, like Teletone Audio Tympo and Reason 13).
- Then the whole thing was exported to Octatrack and chopped up via slicing into the different sections.
The Zen Delay was added for some extra flanging, slapback, tape delay, and even some risers. The end result is a breath of fresh air, and I already have some ideas of how to follow it up on the Octatrack (once I record the new jam I've got lined up, of course).
Equipment used:
- Elektron Octatrack MkII - sampler playing seven sample tracks, performance effects, mixing, scenes
- Erica Synths Zen Delay - flanger, slapback, tape delay, and risers
Performed and recorded live, with EQ, compression, and limiting on the master.
