Braxton Cook | FJYD (live)
Recorded live at BIMHUIS, Amsterdam (Nov 11th, 2024)
Emmy Award-winning alto saxophonist Braxton Cook gives a performance with enchanting sounds and pure emotion, and a genre-crossing mix of jazz, (neo)soul, R&B, and hip-hop.
As a Juilliard graduate, he became a member of Christian Scott's band and has also performed on tours with Christian McBride, Jon Batiste, Marquis Hill, and popular musicians such as Rihanna and Mac Miller. In 2017, Cook was hailed by Fader as a "jazz prodigy." Shortly
