Xiaofu Ju - Janáček: In the Mists, I. Andante
Newly signed pianist and poet Xiaofu Ju announces his upcoming DG China debut album 'Mist Without' from which this piece is a part.
The concept-driven recital unfolds as an immersive listening journey in which music, text, and poetry form a unified artistic world. Featuring works by Janáček, Ravel, Mozart, Dowland, and Scriabin, the album invites listeners into a story-like arc of memory, night, mourning, and transformation.
The full album is released digitally, on CD and on vinyl on 10 July
