Weber: Oberon: "Ozean, du Ungeheuer!" - Annette Dasch, Bayerisches Staatsorchester, Ivor Bolton
In this week's Sunday Matinee we celebrate the 200th anniversary of the premiere of Carl Maria von Weber's opera Oberon on 18 April 1826. The soprano Annette Dasch, in the role of Rezia, sings the Act II aria "Ozean, du Ungeheuer!". She is accompanied by the Bayerisches Staatsorchester conducted by Ivor Bolton in a production from the Bavarian Stage Opera in 2017, directed by Nikolaus Habjan.
