Devour Music

This piece was created using the @teenageengineering OP-1 field, a tape loop, @KOMAelektronik Field Kit, and the @YamahaSynthsOfficial MU15. It is a minimal electronica composition where a repeating 30-step phrase unfolds over lo-fi harmonies. The tape loop contains a one-minute endless tape with a performance recorded from the Prophet-10. The tape player’s output is routed through the@ChaseBlissAudio MOOD MKII, adding reverb and micro-loop effects. With the Field Kit, radio noise is captured and fed into the @strymon TIMELINE, using a high feedback setting to create sustained textures. On the MU15, MIDI sequences sent from Ableton are played back and processed through LOST+FOUND, giving the sound a lo-fi character. The OP-1 field uses the sampler to play an electric piano sound with the FAZER effect applied. The sequence is played using the ENDLESS sequencer, forming a continuous looping pattern.
