Corey Parsons | "Good Thing" | Western AF
Western AF presents: "Good Thing" by Corey Parsons ft. Meredith Watson
- Climbed the mountain
- Crossed the stream
- I laid upon the grass so green
- I closed my eyes and I slipped into a dream
- Somethin about a love that used to be
When I awoke, right next to me, my love lie there covered with leaves. I smiled and said, "Pretty mama come and go with me." She laughed and said, "She'd been waiting there patiently."
- It's a good thing, I got you here with me
- When the goin gets tough, it's a good thing, I got you here with me
- When I've had enough
We wandered round, we took our time, we watched the world with mindful eyes. When we got lost, we laughed until we cried. The sun hung motionless up in the sky.
- It's a good thing, I got you here with me
- When the goin gets tough, it's a good thing, I got you here with me
- When I've had enough
When it comes time for us to leave, back down the mountain, across the stream, I'll hold your hand. If it ever gets too steep, you can hang on to me. If the water is too deep...
